Merry Christmas!

To those that celebrate, anyway, and to those of you that don't, I hope your holidays are wonderful, too!

We did all our presents and stuff last night, and I was pleasantly surprised that there were no major family scuffles. Way to go, family! And then I stayed up all night and slept through the big meal today. :D

yuletide opened last night! Oh god, you guys, over 2000 stories in obscure fandoms. I am nearly orgasmic with the idea of so many new fics to read. Unfortunately I only had time to read mine, My Shangri-La, which is Lost Boys, implied past David/Michael, and it is gorgeous. It's about Michael and what happens afterwards, and it's just so prettily written and fits so well, I adore it.

I've been slowly working on people's wishlists, and I have a lot less done than I'd hoped I would, but here's a couple I've gotten done.

Happy Thanksgiving!

To those that celebrate, in any case. Believe me when I say that after spending the day quietly hating my family and drinking booze that wasn't nearly strong enough, I am doubly grateful for each and every one of you. No, seriously. Even if we don't talk much (or um, ever), I'm grateful that you keep me around, put up with my bullshit and frequent absences, that you make posts that keep me entertained or put my life in perspective or motivate me to do something more than I'm doing or be something more than I am.

I'm especially grateful for those of you I've gotten to know, because really, you are a kickass group of people to know. I'm surrounded by people who are smart and motivated and talented, and I love you all v. v. much.

And I am ridiculously grateful for these men, them and their goddamned beautiful selves.

So, ok, I got a comment on one of my fics, but the comment was in French (I think?) so IDEK, are any of you guys fluent enough to translate?

Also, anyone got definite heights on Jared Padalecki and Zachary Quinto? Zachary's IMDB page says 6'2, and Jared's says 6'4, but Jensen mentioned that Jared was 6'5 in an interview once, and ZQ seems a lot taller than 6'2, so. Just for my own curiosity.

Does anyone know who made the manip under the cut? I'm really wanting to icon it, but I need to figure out who made it so I can ask permission.
